Unlike the 58 browser tools here, this one genuinely can't run in your browser. Office-format conversion, PDF encryption, and deep image compression need software that only exists server-side.

How it works
- This direction works well. Office → PDF is a straightforward render, unlike PDF → Office which has to guess at structure that was discarded.
- Uses LibreOffice on the server. Fonts not installed there may be substituted, which can shift layout slightly.
- This tool uploads your file to a server — unlike every browser-based tool here. This conversion requires server-side processing and is not currently available on AllDays.Tools. When it becomes available, this page will explain exactly how files are handled. But if that tradeoff matters to you, use the client-side tools instead, where the file provably never leaves your device.

Editable office documents can reflow when fonts, software versions or printer settings differ. PDF offered a way to distribute a more stable visual representation of the document.
Conversion is not the same as printing a screenshot
A good document conversion can preserve selectable text, vector elements and links rather than turning every page into one large image.
